Darrell Butler is President of Butler Consulting Group — BC Innovations. After ten years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Darrell is recognized as a leading resource in the field of leveraging diversity and professional development. He has conducted hundreds of training workshops, lead keynote addresses, and assisted organizations in developing and implementing diversity and work-life initiatives.
Darrell's professional experience extends beyond the area of human resources to include positions in sales, market research, and sales management where he has managed business teams responsible for over $30 million in sales. In his role as Director of Work Environment for Merck & Co., Inc. he lead the diversity and work-life initiatives for the sales and marketing division in the U.S., Latin America and Canada.
Darrell is committed to the personal growth of others as well as his own. Since his teenage years in junior high school, Darrell has productively challenged organizations to value and utilize the differences of the people within the institution in which he has been involved. He stayed this course, even while attaining a biology degree in Animal Physiology and Anatomy from Cornell University, and later a Masters in Business Administration in marketing from Washington University's John M. Olin School of Business.
